Health Practice Research Plan of Study - PhD
Program RequirementsThe University of Rochester requires a minimum of 90 credit hours for completion of the PhD degree. A maximum of 30 credit hours from a Master's degree can be transferred toward the 90 credit hour minimum. The remaining 60 credits must be taken at the University as a matriculated student. If a required course has been taken prior to matriculation with a grade of B or better, it will satisfy the course requirement, but not the credit requirement. Additional course work will be required to meet the 60 credit hour minimum.
Prerequisites
NUR 510 is a pre-requisite to NUR 512; NUR 507, 513, 514 are taken in sequence. It is preferred that NUR 505 be taken before NUR 506, and NUR 555 is pre-requisite to NUR 556. IND 501 must be completed prior to dissertation proposal defense.
