Bio

Since joining the School of Nursing faculty in 2019, Kaitlyn Burke has helped to shape academic innovations at the school. She has been an instructional designer on the Education Innovation Team and a super user for the iPad implementation. She was a co-presenter at an Apple webinar: Reimagining Nursing Education, discussing the school’s transformational iROC (Redefining Our Classroom) initiative. Burke has taught at the undergrad and master’s level and served as an advisor and preceptor for Master’s in Nursing Education students. She has served on the school’s Academic Integrity Committee as both a student and faculty member, and has also been named to the Curriculum Committee. She is a member of the National League for Nursing, the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society. Burke still practices clinically and specializes in critical care.
