As part of the University of Rochester and a leading national academic medical center, we offer exceptional undergraduate and graduate nursing education opportunities. The School recently opened a new addition with some of the most advanced simulation labs and classroom facilities available anywhere to support nursing education. Faculty have access to connect with colleagues across the University as well as resources in instructional design, research support and implementation, and a robust IT infrastructure.

Project Nurse

The University of Rochester School of Nursing seeks a project nurse for its Center for Employee Wellness. Project nurses provide direct care services to individuals and groups in a variety of settings. For individuals, this position involves assessment, intervention and evaluation of clients in biometric screening clinics, and chronic disease management and lifestyle programs. Holistic care is provided within the context of a robust coaching model using evidence and theory-based care. Nurses perform full panel biometric screenings using point of care testing (POCT) and provide real time follow up counseling and education about strategies to improve or maintain health.
