After you submit your online application, you will be able to access additional information on your Application Portal, which will provide a lot of insight as to the status of your record. You will be able to upload select materials directly in your portal, such as your resume. You will also be able to see whether we have received your materials.

If you have submitted materials that are not listed as received, please reach out to our Admissions Office. It is helpful if you are able to verify where your materials were submitted/mailed, the method of submission, as well as the date they were requested/submitted or any other confirmation information you may have.

No, you do not need to upload all supplemental materials in order to submit your application. We encourage you to submit your application first, and then you may upload additional materials such as resume or transcripts directly in your Application Portal.

Please note, if you are applying to a program that has a deadline, the deadline signifies both the deadline to submit your application, as well as to submit all of your required supplemental materials.

Each of our programs has different deadlines and start dates throughout the year. Find these deadlines and application requirements on the program pages:

No, registering as a non-matriculated student (or a student not currently enrolled in a degree program/advanced certificate program) gives you the opportunity to enroll in courses without being formally admitted to the UR School of Nursing.

Students often enroll in a course as a non-matriculated student to get a feel for the program before officially applying or to complete necessary prerequisite coursework. For more information and courses related to your program of interest please visit the Non-Matriculated Courses & Registration page.

However, applicants to the RNFA course will also apply through the Application Portal.
