Careers
Nurses find careers “by the bedside” and “beyond the bedside.” They are generalists or specialists. They practice in teams or deliver care independently.
The need is growing rapidly for nurses in hospitals and other clinical settings. The field is also growing with an expanded view of what nurses can and should do in venues outside of the traditional. Nurses write and publish, promote health, influence health care legislation and change health care delivery systems.
