One thing about nursing, that makes me know it's the path for me, is the privilege of helping someone in the most intimate time of their life, ... to be able to be there for someone, and to help them along in that path, it's a blessing, and it's something that I won't give up for anything.
You should always go to an institution or a place where you feel like you can be who you want to be. And I feel like the U of R does a great job of that. I don't want to be just a labor and delivery nurse. I want to be so much more than that.
I wanted to be able to take what I've already done and apply it, and implement it, and be able to really hit the ground running. So the one year program really attracted me. I've just been so lucky to feel like I've found my path through this program.
About the University of Rochester School of Nursing
The School of Nursing at the University of Rochester is a private, non-profit university offering fully-accredited undergraduate, graduate, and certificate nursing programs.
