The School of Nursing has been such a supportive community. After graduating, I had five job offers. And I ended up getting the job that seemed the most impressive of all my med-surg opportunities. I had a leg up in knowing the climate and culture of each of the University's units — to recognize what would be the best fit for me.

You should always go to an institution or a place where you feel like you can be who you want to be. And I feel like the U of R does a great job of that. I don't want to be just a labor and delivery nurse. I want to be so much more than that.

I wanted to be able to take what I've already done and apply it, and implement it, and be able to really hit the ground running. So the one year program really attracted me. I've just been so lucky to feel like I've found my path through this program.
