The program enabled me to apply my education quickly because we jumped right into seeing patients in our second semester. I found that so valuable.
You should always go to an institution or a place where you feel like you can be who you want to be. And I feel like the U of R does a great job of that. I don't want to be just a labor and delivery nurse. I want to be so much more than that.
It's inspiring to hear my instructors’ stories about how they began their careers and what paths they took to find their passions or specialties. They are showing us the many avenues of being a nurse.
