UR Medicine Affiliate Professional Development Grant

We are excited to offer UR Medicine affiliate employees 55% in tuition support for select bachelor's and master's programs! 

The University of Rochester School of Nursing is committed to preparing dynamic, highly-qualified clinicians and leaders to promote the health and well-being of communities served by UR Medicine affiliate systems.

The Affiliate Professional Development Grant from the School of Nursing awards 55 percent in tuition support for all eligible employees of UR Medicine affiliate health organizations interested in the following programs:

This grant is awarded from the School of Nursing and may be used in addition to any employer-sponsored tuition benefits offered.

Affiliate organizations include:

  • Highland Hospital
  • Jones Memorial Hospital
  • UR Medicine Home Care
  • Finger Lakes Health
  • F.F. Thompson Health System
  • Noyes Memorial Hospital
  • St. James Hospital
  • Highlands Living Center
  • Highlands of Pittsford
  • Highlands of Brighton

*Subsidiaries of these health care organizations may also be eligible for the Affiliate Professional Development grant. Please contact us to confirm eligibility.

How to Apply

To receive the Affiliate Professional Development Grant, follow these steps:

  1. Apply for one of the eligible programs through our online application system.
  2. Complete the online SON Scholarship Form using your applicant login credentials. You will be required to complete this form for every semester you intend to receive the grant, after registering for courses. Please contact SON_Scholarships@urmc.rochester.edu for questions about retrieving your login credentials or completing this form.
