Lydia Rotondo
The changing demands of today's complex health care environment require that nurses have the highest level of scientific knowledge and practice expertise possible. As the nation strives to improve health outcomes and health care delivery, DNPs are prepared to expand the critical role of nurses and become leaders in health care redesign.
Lydia Rotondo, DNP, RN, CNS, director of the DNP program,
associate dean for education and student affairs

I chose the DNP program at the UR SON because of the reputation of the university and its faculty. The atmosphere is one of genuine collegiality, respect, trust and intellectual freedom. Starting a DNP education at the UR SON has opened doors for me that otherwise would not have been available.
Luis Rosario McCabe, MS, RN, WHNP-BC, CNL, student in the DNP Program
Senior Nurse Practitioner at the Women’s Center at Lattimore, Senior Associate at the UR SON
