The University of Rochester School of Nursing is excited to host its annual DNP Summit Series this October, 2021. In its sixth year, the 2021 DNP Summit will explore recommendations from the Future of Nursing 2020-2030: Charting a Path to Health Equity consensus study report, published in May, 2021 by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine.
The study was conducted to identify ways in which employers, educators, policy makers, and nursing organizations can support and promote nurses to do the challenging work of overcoming health disparities and achieving health equity in the U.S.
Read the 2021 Report >Fulfilling those recommendations will take the vision and skill of our nursing leaders. Nurses with DNP degrees have the education, expertise, and access to be those leaders and move the agenda for nursing along the path achieving health equity.
Our distinguished speakers for this year’s summit will address the new Future of Nursing 2020-2030 recommendations and the impact of DNP education in achieving them.
