Bio

Christina Arenas, MS, RN, is a nursing faculty member with a strong foundation in clinical practice and a passion for nursing education. She earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Monroe Community College in December 2013 and practiced as a registered nurse for four years before deciding to advance her education.

Arenas went on to complete her Bachelor of Science in Nursing through the RN–BSN program at the University of Rochester School of Nursing, graduating in December 2019. She later earned her Master of Science in Nursing Education in May 2024, further solidifying her commitment to teaching and academic excellence in nursing.

Since completing her graduate education, Arenas has worked as a nursing educator, teaching at both institutions where she was previously a student. Her teaching focuses on supporting student success through evidence-based instruction, clinical reasoning, and the integration of theory into practice. She is dedicated to fostering a supportive learning environment that promotes professionalism, critical thinking, and compassionate, patient-centered care.
