The University of Rochester School of Nursing is now the School of Nursing & Health Sciences – a name that honors more than a century of nursing leadership while reflecting our expanding role in preparing the future health workforce.
Rooted in nursing and integral to URochester Medicine, the School of Nursing & Health Sciences brings education, research, and clinical practice together to advance better care for patients, families, and communities. As we enter our second century, we are building on our strong nursing foundation, growing interdisciplinary education and discovery, and creating new pathways to meet evolving health needs.
