Current Focus

I have a passion for pediatric nursing and helping to develop critical thinking and hands on clinical skills in our nursing students.

I have focused on implementing best practices in simulation, both low and high fidelity, to enhance teaching, learning, and assessment strategies within NUR 374 Pediatrics.

I plan to continue to explore best practices in simulation and curriculum development by gaining certification as a Certified Health Simulation Educator (CHSE) within the next year as well as attending and presenting at current nursing education conferences.
