Bio
Kaleigh Sullivan is an Instructor of Clinical Nursing at the University of Rochester School of Nursing, where she teaches Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing in the Accelerated Bachelor’s in Nursing (ABSN) program and serves as a simulation educator. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing Education from the University of Rochester (2022) and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. John Fisher College (2015).
Sullivan brings nearly a decade of experience in inpatient psychiatric nursing. Her expertise in mental health nursing informs her teaching and simulation practice, where she is passionate about preparing nursing students to provide compassionate, evidence-based care. Currently pursuing her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) degree at the University of Rochester, Sullivan is dedicated to advancing mental health care and nursing education through innovative teaching and clinical excellence. In May 2024, she was honored with the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Teaching in recognition of her commitment to student success and outstanding teaching.
