The University of Rochester Medical Center is excited to celebrate 2020 as the Year of the Nurse & Midwife, as designated by the World Health Organization.

Here, we’ll recognize and celebrate the contributions of our nurse and midwives from across the Medical Center and affiliates, including: UR School of Nursing, Strong Memorial Hospital, Wilmot Cancer Center, Golisano Children’s Hospital, F.F. Thompson Hospital, Highland Hospital, Noyes Health, Jones Memorial Hospital, URMC Midwifery group, and St. James Hospital.

    We believe every student should have access to a UR School of Nursing education. We provide scholarships, grants, and other aid opportunities to serve a diverse student population from all backgrounds. These include:

    This 50 percent scholarship is currently being offered to students living or working in the Finger Lakes region who apply to the Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or RN to BS program.

    The Dean's Diversity Scholarships help support the mission of the School to diversify the nursing workforce.

    The School of Nursing is partnering with the University of Rochester Medical Center to cover the full cost of tuition for UR employees regardless of tuition benefit eligibility for the RN to BS program and select master's programs.

    The University of Rochester thanks our veterans for your service to our country and values your contributions to our campus community.

    Work at a URMC affiliate organization? Receive 55 percent in tuition support for the RN to BS and select master's programs.
