Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI)

This NIH-funded research support center is operated by the University of Rochester Medical Center and serves researchers and clinicians across the university and the region. The CTSI accelerates the translation of discoveries to therapies and interventions that improve the health of individuals and populations.

Biobehavioral Lab

Biobehavioral Lab

The state-of-the-art Biobehavioral Laboratory is a BSL2 facility which provides a multidisciplinary research team with expert consultation and services for dried blood spot analysis, hair and salivary cortisol analyses, HbA1c, total cholesterol, triglycerides, interleukin-6, interleukin -1 beta, and C-reactive protein. The Behavioral Lab space includes two rooms fully equipped with audiovisual equipment for conducting focus groups, interviews, and mall group meetings.
