University of Rochester Medicine is one of the nation’s leading academic health systems. It forms the centerpiece of the University of Rochester’s health research, teaching, and patient care missions.

University of Rochester Medicine encompasses the University's Health Sciences Campus—including the Eastman Institute for Oral Health, the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and its faculty practice, and the University of Rochester School of Nursing—as well as the clinical care enterprise that includes Strong Memorial Hospital, Golisano Children's Hospital, Wilmot Cancer Institute, and affiliate hospitals across the region.
