Patrick P. Lee Foundation Scholarship
The Patrick P. Lee Foundation Scholarship was established to help address the mental health workforce shortage in Western New York by supporting the education of psychiatric nurse practitioner students.
The scholarship, with matching support from the University of Rochester School of Nursing, will cover all tuition costs for select students in the online Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program.
The School of Nursing awards the Patrick P. Lee Scholarship during the application process. Students who apply to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (master's or advanced certificate program) will be automatically considered with preference for students from the following Buffalo area counties:
- Niagara
- Erie
- Chautauqua
- Cattaraugus
Students from Orleans, Wyoming, Genesee, Allegany, Livingston, and Monroe counties may also be considered for the Patrick P. Lee Foundation Scholarship. Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA, be a U.S. citizen, and remain in good academic standing to receive the scholarship throughout their program.
