The School of Nursing's Cardiovascular Nursing Research group comprises nursing scientists with diverse backgrounds, scientific and clinical expertise, and interdisciplinary approaches.
Our collective vision is to improve treatment for patients with heart conditions, better predict outcomes, and help accelerated the process of translating scientific discoveries to cardiac care.
As part of an academic medical center and R1 research institution, faculty and trainees have opportunities to collaborate with colleagues across several disciplines, through close ties with the Clinical Cardiovascular Research Center, Goergen Institute for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (GIDS-AI), and colleagues from across the U.S.
The work of our cardiovascular researchers has been supported through various federal, national, and institutional grants, and widely recognized by organizations such as the American Heart Association, International Society for Computerized Electrocardiology, and Eastern Nursing Research Society.
