The goal of this proof-of-concept mechanistic intervention study is to confirm the causal relationship between this neural circuit and various NPS, by modifying a key region within the neural circuit [i.e. left precentral gyrus (LPG), critical for regulating visual attention4] with anodal transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS).
