Description: Aim 1: Adapt the content of the MiLES intervention to US-based employers and employees (MiLES-US). Using the ADAPT-ITT model, we will convene at least four focus groups of US employers and YACS [total > N=32]). We will use theater testing to develop and refine components of MiLES, gaining participant feedback on recruitment of both YACS and their employers, content specific to the US healthcare system and needs of YACS, and intervention delivery. The product of this aim will be an adapted multilevel intervention, MiLES-US. Aim 2a: Examine feasibility and acceptability of MiLES-US in a single-arm pilot trial. Thirty YACS and their employers (total N=60) will be recruited in a multi-prong, community-engaged approach. YACS/employer dyads will complete questionnaires at baseline (T1) and at 1- and 3-months (T2 and T3 time points), and a dyadic semi-structured interview at T3. The primary outcomes will be feasibility (participation rates and rates of completion and retention) and acceptability (webpage metrics, brief exit survey, dyadic interview) of MiLES-US. Aim 2b: Explore meaningful outcomes of MiLES-US using a pre-posttest design. Within the single-arm pilot trial, exploratory secondary outcomes include employment outcomes (employment status, quality of working life, and productivity) and downstream outcomes (YACS QOL, financial toxicity, healthcare engagement).
