Dates: 4/1/2022 - 5/31/2023
Sponsor:

University of Rochester CTSI

Principal Investigator: Sadandaula Rose Muheriwa, PhD
Description:

This two-phase study seeks to understand parental and community stakeholders' perspectives on the experiences that support the sexual health development of young adolescents aged 10-14 and ultimately inform a feasibility study focused on sexual health development support among young adolescents. This formative study aims to generate knowledge to inform further larger studies that will inform the development of community-informed interventions for good sexual and reproductive health outcomes, particularly preventing early pregnancies, HIV infection, HBV, and other STIs among adolescents.
