The EmPATH research group at the University of Rochester School of Nursing features faculty and doctoral students doing work at the intersection of parent-child and adolescent health.
Research Focus
Our team’s areas of research focus include, but aren’t limited to:
- Maternal and fetal assessment
- Clinical decision-making during pregnancy
- Body weight during pregnancy and the postpartum period
- Metabolic and psychological risk assessment
- Diet and eating behaviors of young children
- Adolescent and young adult eating behaviors, medical management of eating disorders
- Eating disorder risk, prevention, and maintenance
- LGBTQIA+ health
