Dates: 7/1/2017 - 4/30/2018

The proposed pilot implementation trial will help to advance HIV implementation science by identifying whether the therapeutic effects accelerated resolution therapy (ART) on posttraumatic stress symptoms can be extended to the mitigation of HIV symptom distress and contribute to improved quality of life for immigrant, refugee and undocumented (non-status) African, Caribbean and Blacks living with HIV—a population that is overrepresented in HIV incidence and prevalence compared to proportion of the Canadian population.
