In this pilot study exclusively among older people living with HIV, we plan to assess (1) the prevalence of HIV disclosure status and disclosure characteristics (i.e. disclosure vs. non-disclosure in terms of whom, what, when, where, how and why, etc.); (2) sociodemographic and behavioral correlates as well as biopsychosocial consequences of various HIV disclosure status; (3) associations of HIV disclosure characteristics with health-related quality-of-life (HRQoL); and (4) the moderating effect of selected intrinsic and extrinsic factors in the association between HIV disclosure and HRQoL outcomes.
