Providing structure and support for admitted students to complete prerequisite coursework in just 12 weeks and successfully transition to the Accelerated Nursing Program.
The School of Nursing's LaunchPad Program provides students admitted to the 12-Month Accelerated Bachelor's in Nursing (ABSN) program with structure and guidance to complete prerequisite coursework through the Center for Lifelong Learning over a 12-week timeframe.
The goal of this program is to better help admitted students transition to an accelerated curriculum by providing them with faculty and current student insight, support from our Student Affairs team, resources around exam preparation and career planning, and additional support. Along the way, students will have the opportunity to connect with members of their support network and engage with specifically-tailored strategies and approaches to help them feel confident in their success as an accelerated nursing student.
Through the LaunchPad Program, students can complete outstanding science prerequisite coursework and/or labs, including Anatomy & Physiology I, Anatomy & Physiology II, and/or Microbiology. Additional prerequisite requirements may be completed at any accredited institution.
