Resources

The University provides resources to support students overall health and well-being.

University Health Service (UHS)

The mission of University Health Service is to improve the health and well-being of University of Rochester students and staff. UHS features primary care services, the counseling center, and the health promotion office, among other health services. Access UHSConnect or discover other health education and wellness programs.

The CARE Network

The CARE Network is a nationally-recognized program for confidentially receiving help with almost any academic, emotional, physical or social concern — serves all graduate and post-baccalaureate students as well as University undergraduates.

Ombuds Office

Our Ombuds Office helps promote a respectful, inclusive university for all members of the community by mediating differences, resolving problems, and rebuilding trust at the University. Contact the School's Ombuds Affiliate for informal problem-solving and conflict resolution.

Office of Disability Resources

The Office of Disability Resources provides access to a network of disability resource offices and services with responsibility for ensuring the provision of a system and a culture that encourages opportunity and achievement for students with disabilities. Contact the School of Nursing's ADA Access Coordinator to request accommodations. 

Sexual Misconduct & Title IX

The Sexual Misconduct & Title IX website includes information about the University’s sexual misconduct policies and resources available to students. There are multiple places on campus where students can speak privately or confidentially about incidents they have experienced or observed. Contact the School's designated Title IX Coordinator who can answer questions and assist you with reporting options and resources. 

Graduate Student Well-Being

The Health Promotion Office supports graduate student well-being through various events and workshops. Connect with the School's Wellness representative to share your experience or ideas about wellness at the School of Nursing.

Wellness at UR Nursing

The School of Nursing is committed to creating a culture of wellness in which our community functions optimally, finds joy, and thrives. The School of Nursing supports wellness events for its students and is committed to promoting wellness throughout the student experience. These efforts are driven by the School’s Wellness Taskforce and Office of Student Affairs.
