Description:
This elective, graduate-level course designed for students for foundational literacy in nursing research. Students examine the basic principles of nursing science, including its evolution, clinical queries, and scientific processes. Students develop skills in analyzing the key components of research studies and differentiating among diverse forms of scholarly literature. Students will also explore the historical and contemporary contributions of nursing science in advancing patient care and public health, as well as pathways into research-focused careers as nurse scientists.
