NLX 423 - Innovations in Clinical Teaching for Nurse Educators

Description:

In this course, students will explore innovative teaching methods utilized within nursing education to facilitate and assess student learning in the clinical environment. Additionally, nursing education students will learn how to apply concepts addressed in the classroom to the clinical setting. Learners will gain skills in collaborating within clinical settings, establishing clinical expectations, using performance data to provide formative feedback, and assessing student learning to achieve desired cognitive, affective, and psychomotor outcomes.
