Description:

This course focuses on promoting students' critical thinking and clinical decision-making as they gain competency in primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention and evaluating and managing common health complaints in patients across the lifespan in primary care settings. Learning activities and clinical experiences allow students to apply advanced health assessment and diagnostic reasoning skills necessary for safe, high-quality, family-centered, team-based clinical care. Students will demonstrate early competence in the AGPNP/FNP role by the end of the course.
