Content focuses on evaluating and managing patients experiencing acute or chronic health problems across the lifespan in primary care settings. Learning activities and clinical experiences allow students to increase independence in critical thinking, problem-solving, and developing patient-centered plans of care. By the course's end, students demonstrate advancing competency in planning, implementing, and evaluating strategies for promoting optimal outcomes for populations across the lifespan.
