NUR 301 - Principles and Application of Evidence for Nursing Practice

Description:

This course provides an introduction to evidence-based practice and the critical appraisal of best evidence literature. Students learn to formulate clinical questions in answerable format, search for and identify best evidence, and appraise that evidence for rigor and applicability to a clinical problem. Basic principles of scientific inquiry, quantitative and qualitative research methods and research ethics are introduced in the context of clinically relevant research.
