NUR 357 - RN/BS Capstone

2 credits ( 1.5 didactic credits / 0.5 field placement credits )

Prerequisite:

NUR 354, completion of all 64 arts and sciences credits. Students in the last semester of the RN/BS program.

Description:

This capstone course is designed to allow the student to focus on the synthesis of knowledge acquired throughout the curriculum. Special emphasis is placed on the implementation of a health promotion or disease prevention project with a healthcare agency, focusing on a vulnerable population and will be the summative project of the course. Professional role development and career planning are also addressed to facilitate career transition.
