NUR 365 - Population and Community Health Nursing

Description:

This course introduces concepts of population and community health utilizing a synthesis of public health theory, epidemiology, theories of health promotion, and nursing theory to enable students to identify health concerns and promote health and wellness in a variety of communities, while emphasizing diversity. The impact of political, economic, social, environmental, and cultural concerns on the health of population is examined.
