NUR 403 - Ethics and Public Policy in the Health Care System

Description:

This foundational course provides an overview of ethics, policy, and law related to advanced nursing practice. In this course, students will learn about ethics and policy related to health care. Students will learn to evaluate policies and ethical dilemmas in advanced nursing practice using established frameworks. Major assignments in this course will provide students with the opportunity to practice constructing well-reasoned arguments to advocate for changes in policies or law, and to support ethical decisions. This course is writing intensive and includes two major writing assignments.
