Description:

This course fosters clinical competence caring for children with acute and chronic health conditions and emphasizes the integration of assessment, critical thinking, and application of evidence-based practice. Diagnosis and management of critical, acute and chronic health conditions will be accomplished through didactic, lab, simulation, and clinical learning experiences. Clinical placements will include a variety of acute and chronic care settings with on-campus intensive(s) (OCI) required.
