Description:

This course facilitates advanced clinical competence caring for children with complex acute and chronic health conditions and emphasizes the integration of evidence-based practice in the management of advanced pediatric practice. Diagnosis and management of critical, acute and chronic health conditions will be accomplished through didactic, lab, simulation, and clinical learning experiences. Clinical placements will include a variety of acute and chronic care settings with on-campus intensive(s) (OCI) required.
