In this course, students explore the theories and concepts necessary to understand and address the multifaceted challenges impacting population health. Students examine the the influence of social and structural determinants on health outcomes and utilize epidemiological data to measure population health trends and disparities. Students incorporate policy considerations and advocacy opportunities to address real-world population health issues effectively.
