NUR 509 - Clinical Data Management (CDM) for the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

Description:

DNP-prepared nurses must be able to rigorously, meticulously, and ethically manage data to develop, implement, and evaluate sustainable, evidence-based practice change and systems redesign initiatives. Effective data management is an integral part of every aspect of scholarly work and informs project design decisions through outcome analysis and sustainability considerations. Foundational statistical concepts, as well as essential aspects of data management, will be presented including: planning, collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and presenting data, as well as monitoring and evaluating ongoing project data.
