NUR 579 - DNP Project Transition I

Description:

In this independent doctoral clinical practicum is designed to support the student's development as a clinical scholar by providing opportunities to explore a clinical problem or phenomenon of interest. The student will identify a healthcare issue, critically examine the literature to compose a background and significance, and analyze its antecedents and consequences. Through this practicum, the student will utilize clinical hours to explore their clinical environment in relation to the identified phenomenon, gaining insights that inform decision-making and deepen their understanding of the context. The skills and knowledge gained in this course will position the student to enter NUR 574, where they will conduct a formal needs assessment to further analyze the identified healthcare issue.
