Description:
- This course provides registered and advanced practice nurses with the knowledge and skills necessary to assume the role of a legal nurse consultant and a testifying expert. Students will synthesize nursing knowledge, clinical expertise, and legal principles to consult on medical-legal case. Students will participate in an internship with an attorney or legal nurse consultant. This course may be taken as an elective in the RN to BS and the masters programs. It is also open to non-matriculated students.
