The Foundations of Nursing Practice course introduces students to the nurse's professional role and its importance within the healthcare team. This course focuses on using the five stages of the nursing process to construct an individualized, comprehensive, and collaborative plan of care. Students will explore ethical, theoretical, and historical nursing practice foundations to begin forming their professional identity.
