Description:

In this course, nurse practitioner students develop the diagnostic and clinical reasoning skills associated with advanced practice. Application of advanced knowledge in health assessment, health promotion and
screening, and pathophysiology in patient care is emphasized. Using a systematic process, students learn to order and interpret diagnostic tests, perform diagnostic procedures, and integrate clinical data with current
evidence-based practices to make patient-centered differential diagnoses and clinical decisions.
