NPG 431
This is the second of three clinical courses designed to prepare students as pediatric primary care nurse practitioners (PNPs) within a culturally diverse society. Content focuses on evaluating and managing infants, children, and adolescents experiencing acute or chronic complex health problems in primary care settings. Learning activities and clinical experiences allow students to increase independence in critical thinking, problem-solving, and developing patient-centered plans of care. By the course's end, students demonstrate advancing competency in planning, implementing, and evaluating strategies and programs for promoting optimal outcomes for complex pediatric populations.
