Advanced Certificate in Nursing Education with Clinical Focus (PMC-C)

This 10-credit, three-course post-master’s certificate program (PMC-C) is designed for nurses who hold both a baccalaureate degree in nursing and a master’s degree in education (e.g. M.Ed), who wish to obtain clinical course content at the master’s level, for practice as an academic or clinical nurse educator. Students may start this certificate program any semester and will take one course a semester, concluding in three semesters. All courses are a hybrid mix in person and online class meeting times.

This hybrid-online course includes 56 hours (1 credit) of a precepted clinical practice experience in the student's area of expertise/interest with the goal of improving healthcare or patient outcomes.
