Cost & Financial Aid
Non-Matriculated Tuition Rate
The tuition rate for non-matriculated undergraduate and graduate courses is $1,740 per credit hour (except for Online Prerequisite Courses). For more information visit the Tuition & Fees webpage.
Payment must be received upon registration to gain access to the course.
Financial Aid
If you are planning on using financial aid, you will need to contact our financial aid counselor to discuss options and receive confirmation that you will be approved. Financial aid may be available if certain criteria are met, including:
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident eligible for federal financial aid.
- Must enroll for a minimum of six credits in courses that are prerequisites for entry into a degree program at the University of Rochester or another institution. Note: Coursework to improve GPA/grade or that is required for completing a degree is not considered a "prerequisite" for entry.
- Must receive prior academic approval for planned coursework.
If you meet these criteria, or want to discuss financial aid options, please schedule an appointment with our Financial Aid Counselor. If approved to receive financial aid, you may proceed with registering for your courses.
