RN Licensure Requirements

The Accelerated Programs for Non-Nurses at the University of Rochester School of Nursing are designed to satisfy the academic requirements for licensure within the State of New York. Requirements for licensure vary from state to state.

Preparing for RN licensure in another state      

Prospective and current students who intend to apply for licensure in a state other than New York are encouraged to contact the state board of nursing in that state to determine if our program meets all licensing requirements in that state.
